It is hard, but rewarding work to find people who will sign our Justice Party Ballot Access Petitions to enable Rocky Anderson and the Justice Party to be on the Texas Ballot in the November 2012 General Election. In some cases, you can hold an event and ask voters to sign a petition. There is a featured article, "Petition-Signing Events" on this Website that lists events sponsored by members of the Justice Party of Texas who have gone to the trouble of scheduling an event, finding an event venue, publicizing that event, and then striking it rich with petition gold.

The Justice Party of Texas is undertaking a large effort to gather 49,799 signatures on petitions to gain Ballot Access for its candidates, especially our nominee for President, Rocky Anderson, on the ballot in Texas. By gathering 49,799 signatures, the Justice party will also be officially recognized as a political party in Texas.
While the task of the Justice Party gaining legal recognition and ballot access appear daunting, the Green and Libertarian parties’ previous success in accomplishing these goals show that it can be done. Independent candidates for office such as Kinky Friedman and Carol Keeton Strayhorn in 2006 were both able to obtain even larger numbers of signatures that are required for the Justice party to succeed in gaining ballot access.
